On 21 April 1869, William C. and Delilah Sharp sold 148 acres of land to Gabriel Clore for 3500 dollars. The 148 acres came from the North East 1/4 of Section 10 in Township 14 South Range 6 East, near the town of Tansill in Pope County, Illinois. The document image follows below.

Reference Note:

Pope County, Illinois, Deed Records, Series A, 1816-1883, O:376, William C. and Delilah Sharp to Gabriel Clore, 21 April 1869; recorded, 24 April 1869; Pope County Clerk & Recorder, Golconda.

William and Delilah Sharp's initial purchase of 160 acres in 1855 was reduced to 148 acres by their sale of a 12 acre strip in 1859. So, this sale brings their holdings to zero in preparation for their move across the Ohio River into Kentucky later in 1869.
