Reference Note:

Pope County, Illinois, Deed Records, Series A, 1816-1883, O:376, William C. and Delilah Sharp to Gabriel Clore, 21 April 1869; recorded, 24 April 1869; Pope County Clerk & Recorder, Golconda.

Commentary:

William and Delilah Sharp's initial purchase of 160 acres in 1855 was reduced to 148 acres by their sale of a 12 acre strip in 1859. So, this sale brings their holdings to zero in preparation for their move across the Ohio River into Kentucky later in 1869.
