Greetings!

My interest in genealogy began around 1998. It was around that time that my mother started giving me family photos and records for "safe-keeping". Amongst the items were some letters she received from one of my cousins. He was trying to learn the birthplace of my great-grandfather and ran into a brick wall. I wondered if I could do any better. And so began my quest.

For many years, I have maintained RootsWeb pages that display some of the results of my research. They are at Sharp-Neal and Related Families. I am using this blog format to track my ongoing research. From time to time, the website will get updates with the new results. 

With the introductory remarks out of the way, it's time to start posting!
